Derebail Parishioners Celebrate Independence Day and the Feast of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary

On the feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Virgin Mary, after the 7:30 a.m. eucharistic  celebration, the parishioners of Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail assembled in front of the flag pole for the flag hoisting ceremony.

Christian Life Community (CLC)-  Youth Unit of Derebail Parish  organised an Interward Skit Competition 'Heroes of Faith' depicting the life of Saints on  31st July, 2022 on the occasion of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

FEAST OF ST. JOACHIM AND ST. ANN

The Feast of St. Ann and St.Joachim was celebrated at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail on 26 July, 2022.  It was from St. Ann's and St.Joachim's marital embrace that the Spirit fashioned their fair daughter Mary to be sinless: the dawning of a new creation awakening from her Immaculate Conception.

DEREBAIL CHURCH CELEBRATES THE LIFE OF THE ELDERLY

Derebail parish celebrated the day of the elderly and grandparents in a unique way over the weekend from 23rd to 25th July.  On all Sunday obligation Masses commencing Saturday evening and Sunday morning, those who were above the age of 75 years were asked to occupy the front seats in the church.
